Me and my friends are planning to go to korea on November, based on your 7days itinerary what is best transportation we could use? And what is the weather?
Thanks
Subway is the most convenient. It’s autumn that time.
hi. will be there march 28. can we catch some snow on the mountain slopes? thanks.
hi again. are trazys and funko legit? ticket prices are cheap there. thanks.
hi ms karla, where is the best place to exchange korean currency? can we buy sim card or rent a pocket wi fi or much cheaper if will have a phil roaming sim? thanks for your help
I think that would by Myeongdong. There are lots of currency exchange, I suggest you bring USD instead of PhP. You can buy a sim card or rent a pocket wifi in the airport (if you have a credit card).
Some people say that their roaming sim takes time to work here and it’s not efficient.

Hi Karla! I happen to stumble upon your blog while checking out DIY itineraries for Seoul. Wondering if you can help me out? My friend and I intend to go to Korea for 5 days, last week of October. Would you know if:
1. Is Dalkom Guest House a good place to stay in?
2. I was thinking of getting an arranged tour for Korea, but my friend said that there’s hop on, hop off bus (like in Paris) going around to various tourist spots in seoul. Would you recommend this?
3. I very much want to go to Nami island. How do we get there from Seoul?
Thank you so much! 🙂
1. It think the location is good.
2. It’s expensive and you can’t control your time. I enjoy DIY.
3. I made a blog about it. Check out Gapyeong Itinerary. ^^
Hi Ms. Karla,
Do you have a post in your blog on how to go to different places in Korea by subway?
Thank you.
Thank you for the reply! 🙂
I am really amazed at your patience in answering all the queries, especially
that some of them become repetitive. I hope you realize how much help this blog is, especially for those of us who need guidance in our much-awaited Korea adventure. 🙂
I hope I can meet you there (oct 31-nov 5) please let me know if you will be available. And if there’s anything i can get from here (sans mallet lang at would fit in my backpack) do let me know too! 🙂
Hi Karla! Is it possible that we can experience autumn and winter on our 4 days tour in s.korea?

hi karla,
can we chat you for directions, guide if ever we visit korea? hehe
Sure basta may pasalubong hahaha
hahaha..sure sure sure
negotiable naman yun beh
Hello . If you converted it to PH peso how much it all cost ?
Usually, a budget traveler spends 20-25K for a week here. (inclusive of airfare, accommodation, food, and entrance fees)
Hinmiss karla I just want to ask if there will be available ATMs there in myeongdong if I will withdraw cash from my Visa card and lastly where is the house of legend of the blue sea joon Jae the wooden stairs located? Thanks so much
Yup, but I advise that you bring USD here then change to KRW. I made a detailed directions in another post. Legend of the Blue Sea shooting locations. 🙂
I have usd but I was thinking of withdrawing as well for additional cash do I have preferred ATM locs along myeongdong?
Yup, there are lots of ATM around. 🙂

I look forward to meeting you then. I would be very happy if you could make any suggestions. I wish to stay in a Hanok and experience Korea- their life, food and see old palaces. You can write anything on your mind. Some people use it as their journal. You can make an account in Blogspot or WordPress.
Reblogged this on basheerabdulwahab.
