1. Namsan Tower
This is where they are supposed to meet but Sim Cheong didn’t make it because she had a car accident.
2. Heojoonjae house (exterior)
It’s 8 mins walk from Myeongdong Station. It’s very near the cable car of Namsan tower. Before climbing the stairs towards the building with cable cars, you’ll see a street on the right side. The stairs going down to his house can be seen there.

3. Artmonstay Guesthouse
On this rooftop, Sim Cheong and Joon Jae had a BBQ. It’s the place where Joon Jae gave her a handphone.

4. Daemyung Vivaldi Park (Ski Resort)
Joon Jae brought Sim Cheong here to experience snow.

5. National Palace Museum of Korea
This is where Heo Joon Jae saw an old portrait that looks like him.
Address: 12, Hyoja-ro, Jongno-gu, Seoul
Directions: Gyeongbokgung Station (Seoul Subway Line 3), Exit 5. 5 min-walk. Or Gwanghwamun Station (Seoul Subway Line 5), Exit 1. 10min-walk.
6. Riverside Spa Land (Jjimjilbang)
This is where they spent the night together. I love how Joon Jae protected the mermaid from getting into the water.

Directions: Get off at Gangbyeong Station. Walk towards the Jjimjilbang.
7. Shinsegae Department Store (Myeongdong)
This is where the Sim Cheong is enjoying the lights when Joon Jae got arrested and dropped the cute octopus stuffed toy.

Directions: Take the subway line4 and get off at Hoehyeon Station Exit 7

Amazing KDrama goals! We are planning to stay in Artmonstay Myeongdong. The accomodation have a lot of good reviews when it comes to proximity in Myeongdong Shopping District. However, it also consistent on the guesthouse’s location to be very steep. Please help us assess if we can uphill walk is manageable.

Yes, it is steep but I can say it’s manageable if you’re not wearing heels. ^^
