Hometown Cha Cha Cha made me love watching Korean Dramas again!

1. The actors

Kim Seon Ho is the good boy that we love at Start-Up. I think we can all agree that he deserves to have his own happy ending this time! In addition, the Shin Min-A from My Girlfriend is a Gumiho, Oh My Venus, and Tomorrow with You is finally back on Kdramas. Lee Sang-Yi is new to me but I’m really curious to know more about his character in this series.

2. The Plot

Hometown Cha-Cha-Cha is a remake of the film Mr. Hong (2004). It revolves around two characters. A dentist named Yoon Hye-jin (Shin Min-A) opens a dental clinic in the seaside village of Gongjin. Then there’s Chief Hong Du-Sik (Kim Seon Ho), a person who is known as a jack of all trades. He loves helping the community. I’m excited to know how they will get attracted to each other. Besides the love interest, I also look forward knowing more about the stories of each villager living in Gongjin.

3. The Setting

It was filmed in Pohang. It is a city in North Gyeongsang, South Korea. I’m pretty sure that a lot of fans will visit it soon.

Everywhere I look, it’s beautiful, and I become healed. It will be fun to watch the outdoor set in Pohang that was created to appear as if Gongjin really exists.

Hometown Cha Cha Cha is a healing drama. First, it is not your usual romcom which mainly focuses on the love story. Second, it features the silent battles the villagers are facing and their heartwarming stories. Lastly, you will see yourself smiling while watching each episode. Unlike other Korean Dramas that will give you stress, this will definitely be drama that will make you look forward to weekends.

  2. I haven’t watched Hometown Cha Cha Cha yet 😀 pero even before reading this, one thing that makes me wanna watch it is the setting talaga. I mean it looks like a place I wanna spend the rest of my life with someone (kaso wala) buti sana kung kamukha ni Kim Seon Ho diba HAHAHA tapos of course Shin Min Ah, my ever favorite female gumiho.

  3. This is my ✨ healing ✨ kdrama right now. I look forward to weekends even I have some work to do because we get new episodes. I really love the setting too, nakakamiss ang dagat :(( the actors, yes, sooo gooood. I love how the characters’ back stories are start to unravel too. Very heartwarming show!
