Dasmarinas City has a lot of public and private resorts. There are resorts for intimate gatherings, for public events, and just for hanging out with family and friends. Last March 30, I and some friends from South Bloggers had an overnight swimming at Vel Garden Resort. I took the chance to make a detailed review about the resort.
Vel Garden Resort will definitely entertain you with witty life lessons all over the place. If you’re a Filipino, you’ll see yourself smiling while reading these reminders:
Since not all of us lives in Dasmarinas, we decided to rent three rooms. The room has its own bathroom. It has a shower and a toilet. They also provided a towel, a toothbrush, and a bath soap.
The standard room is good for two people. You can avail the standard room for as low as 400 pesos (3 hours). If you want to stay longer, they charge 750 pesos for 6 hours, and 1,500 pesos for 12 hours stay. They charge 100 pesos for every hour extension. An extra bed costs 200 pesos, and an extra person costs 150 pesos.
Pools
They have two pools. They have pools for adults and for kids.
Cottages
There are three types of cottages. They have a table (300 pesos) good for six people. The second type of cottage (600 pesos) is good for 10-15 people. The third type of cottage (700 pesos) is good for 15-20 people.
Events Place
They have a spacious place for different events like wedding, debut, and other special occasions.
They don’t have any food stalls inside. I advise that you bring your own food. They don’t charge any corkage for food. For drinks, you can buy it there so there won’t be any corkage.
You may also bring charcoal and some raw meat for grilling.
The staff are accommodating from taking phone calls until our departure. We never felt neglected by the staff. If you need to buy something from outside like ice, charcoal, or food, you can ask them nicely and they can buy it for you.
Vel Garden Resort is located at Amutay Road, Barangay Zone 3, Dasmarinas City, Cavite. From Manila, you may take a bus going to Dasmarinas and get off at Dasma Bayan. Then take a tricycle going to Vel Garden Resort.

I had a pleasant stay at Vel Garden Resort. It’s an affordable place to hang out with friends. It’s great for students who are on a budget.
In my opinion, the rooms at Vel Garden Resort is more suitable for couples than for group of friends. To give you a heads up, there’s a big mirror on the wall of the room. Moreover, you can see the silhouette of the person inside the bathroom if you’re in bed. Hahaha!
Wow, look at that pool! It looks really beautiful! Also, I would end up sliding down that water slide many times!
