A lot of beauty bloggers claimed how effective Nature Republic Aloe Vera Soothing Gel is. It became popular across social media. Recently, I watched a video about fake soothing gels. A guy bought it for 100 pesos instead of the original price that is around 300 pesos. After using it for quite some time, he developed some allergies in his face. Laboratory results showed that the fake and original product’s ingredients are totally different.

In this blog I will show you the characteristics of the original Nature Republic Aloe Vera Soothing Gel.
Packaging
- Have you noticed the 3D effect? The real packaging has embossed effect. Try to feel the texture of the Aloe Vera image.
- It’s 92% Aloe Vera Gel. Some fake brands says 98%.
- Look at the sides of the cap. The words NATURE REPUBLIC must be embossed thrice around the lid.
- There is a Korean Text, English Text, and Japanese Text at the back.
- The words Nature Republic are embossed at top and bottom part of the label.
- If you buy it in the Philippines, there is a small sticker:

Soothing Gel
- It’s not sticky and watery. The gel on the cap won’t fall.
- It won’t make you feel oily after applying.
- It won’t fall from your finger tips easily.
- It has a soft scent. The smell stays on your fingers after applying it.
Final Tips
- Buy from certified sellers. As much as possible buy from the actual shop.
- Don’t buy cheap products. Will you expect good quality ingredients if they can sell it for a very low price?
- Read blog reviews before buying products.

Hi, Karla! I love this gel and I am still using this. Other tips to make sure if it is Authentic. At the back portion, there’s a small picture (Aloe Vera), you can’t see it through your eyes because it’s too small, you can take a photo and if you can see a dot dot on it. If there is, It is Authentic. God bless!

This is some great info. It’s crazy that there’s even a such thing as fake Aloe Vera products when it’s so easy to access the real thing. But I guess that all plays into just knowing certain things.

Very interesting! I know the “fake” market is booming but had no idea it went as far as basic products such as Aloe Vera soothing gel! That’s just crazy! I guess we really have to be mindful of pretty much anything and everything we buy and/or consume these days and always check the ingredients!
Hassle that there are a lot of fake skincare and make-up stuff out there! We shouldn’t compromise quality when it comes to our skin. 🙁

That’s a very informative thing. In our country half of the products are fake. So I guess this need to keep in mind next time I but any alovera thing.
Well, even in our country, we get other stuffs which are fake. Maybe following the process we might get the idea. But coming back to Aloe Vera, product looks really fresh and as a fan of packaging, I really like it. If it imports to India, I might buy that.
