SM Dasmarinas celebrates the Women’s Month with various activities for ladies! Besides the month long discounts for shoppers, they also gave a free styling session with the famous celebrity stylist, Ms. Donna Cuna Pita. She’s the former fashion director of Cosmopolitan Philippines. SM Stylists Pretzel Glory and Criss Ahumada were also there to style the shoppers.

The event was hosted by Ms. Marybeth Nave, a Multi-awarded Events Host, Radio and TV DJ. Many SM executives were also present. In addition, one of the City Councilors of Dasmarinas, Dra. Tagumpay Tapawan graced the event by giving a short inspirational talk about women empowerment.

Right after the talk, selected women were given time to walk with the stylists to select the outfit that best fits them. Some of the girls are students, others are working girls, and some are employees of SM. I’m one of the lucky ones who got styled for free!

The Transformations

This group of friends were transformed from the typical university students to fabulous summer fashionistas. The stylist mentioned how fun mixing and matching outfits is!

This group of teachers got a makeover! They are now ready to attend the graduation wearing the elegant clothes, shoes, and accessories from SM Woman.

SM Woman really caters women from all ages, shapes, sizes, and profession. The stylist reminded all the women that no matter what kind of situation you have, you always have to take care of yourself and be confident.

Aside from the free styling, a gift certificate from SM was awarded to the most transformed shopper.

Thoughts about the Event

Attending a fashion event like this is a first time for me. To be honest, I usually shop at SM Kids because I have a petite body type, I thought that SM Woman won’t fit me. This event made me realize that there are clothes from SM Woman that is perfect for me.

Wearing a jumpsuit is not only for tall girls! I’ve learned a lot of techniques on how to look taller, and how to look fashionable using the clothes from SM Woman.
