Hey Lucky Cafe & Co.: A Hidden Gem for Remote Work at Lime Resort Manila

As someone who loves working in different cafes, I’m always on the lookout for places that offer a good balance of ambiance, reliable Wi-Fi, and great coffee. During my stay at Lime Resort Manila, I discovered Hey Lucky Cafe & Co., and it turned out to be a pleasant spot to get some work done.

A Work-Friendly Atmosphere

One of the things I immediately noticed was how peaceful the cafe was. People would come and go, but I was the only one who stayed for more than an hour, which meant I never had to worry about finding a seat. The lighting was amazing—so good that I looked great during my video conference (a win for virtual meetings!). They played instrumental music, which I appreciated because it wasn’t distracting at all.

Fast Wi-Fi, Limited Power Outlets

The Wi-Fi was impressively fast and reliable, much better than the connection I had in my room at Lime Resort Hotel, where I had to rely on mobile data. However, power outlets were limited—I managed to charge my laptop, but if you’re planning to stay longer, bringing a power bank for your phone is a must.

My Coffee Experience

I ordered a Salted Caramel coffee, though I was a bit surprised by the pricing. There were no prices on the standee menu, and when I paid, I found out my drink cost 265 pesos—a bit steep for a single cup. At first, the coffee tasted too strong for my liking, but as the ice melted, it became smoother and more enjoyable.

Productivity & Service

The peaceful ambiance kept me focused and productive throughout my stay. Even though there was only one staff member handling both orders and making coffee, I still received my drink in just a few minutes. The service was efficient, and I had no complaints.

Final Thoughts

I stayed at Hey Lucky Cafe & Co. from 1 PM to 3 PM, after checking out of Lime Resort Hotel. If I find myself in the area again, I won’t hesitate to come back. The combination of a quiet atmosphere, good lighting, and strong Wi-Fi makes it a great work-friendly cafe. Just be mindful of the pricing if you’re planning to grab a cup of coffee!
