Celebrating Valentine’s Day at Domus Restaurant

I and my boyfriend got a chance to try some of their meals for Valentine’s Day and here’s our experience:

Appetizer

For the appetizer, we tried the Shrimp Ceviche. This includes fresh shrimp with cucumber, red onions, beets, and cilantro. It is bursting with different flavors. It’s definitely a great way to start the meal.

Main Entree

Tenderloin Tornado

If you’re someone who loves steak, this is perfect for you. Diners may choose the doneness of meat from rare to well. What I love about this dish is that it’s very tender and easy to chew. The sides went well with the savory flavor of the meat.

Grilled Sea Bass

Sea bass is full of protein, low in calories, and an excellent source of omega-3 fatty acids. As a fan of seafood, I totally enjoyed eating this fish. It has a mild flavor. It’s best eaten together with the sides.

Dessert

Strawberry and Cream Cheese Gateau

I’d say that this cake is too pretty to eat! I love the sea-inspired plating. This cake is similar to sans rival in terms of the inside filling. There are crushed pistachios on top which gives additional flavor to the cake.

Lemon Cheesecake

Besides the detailed plating, the Lemon Cheesecake tastes great too. It’s moist and it has a thick texture. It’s a good dessert to end the meal. I don’t know about you but the gold sheet accent makes the cake really classy!

Beverage

The best seller in Domus Restaurant is the Iced Shaken Cuculemon. Cucumber Lemon water is low in calories but full of nutrients and antioxidants. This drink is a natural detox drink. It will definitely quench your thirst.

Valentine’s Day Promo

Their Valentine’s Day package costs 3,349.00 per couple. This includes an appetizer, main entree, dessert, and beverage.

Personally, I can’t choose between Irog, Sinta, and Giliw. Here are my favorites: Shrimp Ceviche (appetizer from Sinta), Grilled Sea Bass (main entree from Giliw), and Strawberry and Cream Cheese Gateau (dessert from Irog).

Seafood Diavolo

Seafood Diavolo is spicy seafood heaven. It has a rich and spicy tomato sauce which is perfect for pasta and seafood.

Domus Roasted Chicken

Domus Roasted Chicken has maple, butter, and lemon. The chicken is tender and tasty. The flavors are not just on the skin but also on the chicken meat.

American Burger

I think my photo doesn’t give justice to the thick patty of this burger. If you’re very hungry, you have to order this burger. It has savory grilled ground beef and a lot of flavorful veggies. It comes with seasoned fries and salsa on the side.

I had a chance to meet the people behind these mouthwatering dishes and they are all amazing. This team is headed by Executive Chef Ralph De La Rosa.
