Lasema Spa is the first authentic Korean Spa in the Philippines. It offers services like massage, jjimjilbang, and sauna. In this post, I’ll give you tips on how to maximize your 12 hours stay at Lasema Spa.
1. Try the different types of Jacuzzi.
When you get inside, the first thing that you need to do is take off your clothes and leave your clothes and shoes on the locker. Just bring your bracelet with the key to you locker. You may also bring one small towel for your hair. I was not able to take photos of the public bath because the use of cameras are not allowed in the locker and bath area.
There are different pools in the Sauna area. They have a Ginseng Pool, Hinoki Pool, Jasmine Pool, Green Tea Pool, and Ice Pool.
2. Sweat out in the Sauna
There’s a steam sauna in the public bath. It has a shower mist. Don’t forget to pull the line for the cold shower after few minutes inside it. It’s totally refreshing!
3. Try all the 5 Kilns
There are 5 Kilns in New Lasema Spa. There’s an Amethyst Kiln, Himalayan Salt Kiln, Ochre Hot Kiln, Pine Tree Kiln, and Ice Room. I tried to spend at least five minutes per room.
4. Sleep at the Sleeping Cave
Remember those Kdramas when they search for a place to sleep? They often sleep in Saunas!
5. Work out in the Gym
Since you’re all sweaty after the visiting some kilns, why not work out too? Burn those calories!
6. Watch Kdrama
There are many things to do on the third floor. You may check out the Karaoke, Play Room, Aquarium, and the Korean Garden. Most people just hang out in the entertainment room to watch Kdrama.
7. Eat Korean Food
Like the usual Korean Sauna, they also have a snack bar. You may order some grilled eggs, cordogs, dumplings, and ramen. They have all those Korean snacks that you’ve been craving for. It’s cashless. You just have to show your number when you order your food. You may settle the bills upon check out.
8. Experience the Korean Scrub
Forget everything on this list. Just do this Korean scrub! This is actually what I look forward in this trip. When I was in Korea, I go to sauna just to get body scrubs. I availed the Dae Mi Di Lasema Package (1,638 pesos).
9. Get a Full Body Massage
They offer different types of massages. You may try Shiatsu, Swedish, Deep Tissue, Lomi lomi, Lymphatic, and even combination massage.
10. Take Pictures at the Korean Photobooth
Want to pretend that you’re in Korea? Go to their photobooths!
