La Germania Cooktop Stove Review by Renell Pacrin
There are several choices for cooktop stove. All of them are enticing. They made me go back to the store many times. During my selection, I do not have internet access at home yet and can not do research, compare prices, check specifications, and read reviews. Frequent store visits helped me compare and assess which stove to buy.
The Gas Burners
Three gas burners is more suitable for me than to four or more burners. I thought, if I will opt for more than three burners, and I will not be able to use them all at the same time, I can not maximize the stove. Pots and pans will not fit because of the spaces between four or more burners. I have found it very satisfying to use the three-burner cooktop stove while cooking breakfast and packed lunch in the morning, as well as during special occasions because it speeds up cooking time.
The Trivet
Another consideration is the trivet. Some of the cooktop stove I saw have quite rounded trivet which for me, are not safe while cooking because of the possibility of pots and pans to slip. My La Germania Cooktop Stove’s cast iron trivet holds my pots and pans well and steady. I find it heavy duty and expects them to last a lifetime. They are easy to clean and have small rubber stoppers (I am not sure if this the correct term) at the base of each trivet. However, the rubber stopper are not permanently attached in the trivet’s base. I have noticed that they are not compete anymore, lost while cleaning perhaps. But it doesn’t matter, my stove with perfect trivet still cooks efficiently.
The Electric Ignition
For the stove’s electronic ignition, make a lighter handy in case there’s an electricity power interruption so that you can still open the burners. The stove’s power outlet is under the cooktop counter; the space below is still vacant until now, which was allocated for an oven that goes with the stove. I am not sure if there is still an oven that matches my old model stove to fill the empty space. While for safety reasons, the stove’s gas tank is outside the kitchen premises. To date, one ignition (of the right burner) is not working anymore. The burner still excellently works for fifteen years now.

Welcome to Mima’s Homey! I would like to share my personal experiences regarding home appliances, furnitures, fixtures, and maybe some others things which makes our home comfortable, our chores easier, worth investing your hard-earned money, and time-saving, most specially to working moms who doesn’t have helpers at home. Furnishing home is costly if you trust excellent quality, life span, brand, and durability. Considering these things, I have purchased and furnished our newly-built home based on what they worth and well-known brands. What they worth should speak their quality. Some of them are fifteen years old now and still in good working condition. While some lasted only for a few years which is unfortunate and frustrating.
