Arctic Artisan Bingsu Craft Cafe

I love Bingsu! It’s my favorite dessert when I was in Korea. Now that I’m back in Philippines, my taste buds are craving for it!

The good news is that I just found my bingsu haven in SM DASMARINAS! You read that  right! Arctic Artisan Bingsu Craft Cafe had their soft opening yesterday. I didn’t know about that until I saw it a while ago.

Bingsu is a perfect dessert for Philippines’ weather. I can compare it to our very own Halohalo or con yelo. Instead of having a lot of ingredients, bingsu has different flavors.

We tried the Mango Cheesecake Bingsu. The mangoes are quite sour but they taste similar with what I tried in Korea. The cheesecake on the sides are very tasty. It suits me well. It’s not too sweet, and very edible unlike what I had in Rainbow Dreams Cafe.

There are many flavors to choose from: Banana Walnut & Tiramisu Bingsu, Green Tea Almond Matcha Bingsu, Triple Chocolate Brownies Bingsu, Very Strawberry Bingsu, Coffee Jelly Bingsu, Peach Perfect Bingsu, Watermelon Bingsu, Mango Bingsum, Melon Bingsu, and of course Mango Cheesecake Bingsu.

The also offer some waffles, coffee, tea, shakes, and smoothies. I must say that they are worth the price. I won’t regret spending money for good food. They also have tea bags on their counter.

I think there’s only one person working there. Maybe it’s manageable for her since they don’t have much customers yet. I didn’t have much interaction with her but the cashier/server is kind enough to answer some of my questions and to serve us water.

Arctic Artisan Bingsu Craft Cafe is located at the Lower Ground Floor of SM DASMARINAS. It is near Karate Kid and Expressions. Based on the number of chairs they have, I think it can only accommodate 15 people.

I had a great time in Arctic Artisan Bingsu Craft Cafe. I’m not sure why it’s called a craft cafe but I’ll definitely go back there because of the bingsu!
