Pappa G’s: Best Indian Restaurant in Paranaque

Pappa G’s is one the best Indian restaurants in BF Homes, Paranaque. They serve authentic Indian Cuisine at a price that won’t hurt your pockets. They make Indian Food accessible to all!

Pappa G's

According to the owners, they have a three-pronged approach that their guests adore. First, the main ingredient that they use in cooking and serving is LOVE. Second, there is a big effort that goes into every dish to maintain the authenticity of the recipe. For example, their Dum Biryanis are slow-cooked for 4 hours. They prepare seven different kinds of curries every day. The meats and ingredients are sourced fresh every day and more importantly, the Herbs and Spices used are all sourced from India. Lastly, their menu guarantees a complete culinary journey across encompassing flavors from all over Incredible India.

10 Must-Try Dishes at Pappa G’s

1. Pani Puri or Puchkas

This is my favorite appetizer! It’s a crispy-fried puffed ball! This has tamarind, chutney, and flavored water of tamarind and mint. It comes in three variants: Beef Masala, Butter Chicken, and Chicken Masala. You have to pour the flavored water inside the puffed ball. For a great experience, you have to pop the whole ball into your mouth!

2. Samosa

This is fried bread with a savory filling. This includes spiced potatoes, onions, and peas. This comes with a tangy tamarind chutney. This may be an appetizer but I would say that it’s a heavy meal!

3. Murg Dum Biryani

Underneath the flavorful Basmati Rice is a Full Chicken Leg Quarter. It is infused with traditional Indian Spices and Herbs. It comes with a Raita sauce. If you’re not a fan of chicken, you may order the Beef Dum Biryani instead. What makes this special is the way of cooking. It is slow-cooked to ensure the best flavors!

4. Murg Makhani (Butter Chicken)

These are Delectable Chicken Tenders in a Buttery and Velvety Cashew Tomato Sauce. This includes Indian Spices and Herbs. As someone who is not a fan of spicy food, I must say that I can tolerate the spiciness level. It is a perfect match for the Biryani!

5. Beef Curry

These are Tender Beef Briskets in a medium spicy grave base of onions, tomato, and aromatic flavorful Indian Spices. This is also spicy but the very tender meat makes it really enjoyable for me.

6. Anda Masala (Eggs Masala)

If you are not a fan of meat, you may try the Anda Masala. This includes three hardboiled eggs in flavorful traditional onions, tomato, ginger garlic, and Dried Red Chilli South Indian style Masala.

This popular North Indian dish has Succulent Paneer Cubes (Indian Cottage Cheese) in a smooth spinach sauce. It contains spinach, onions, and herbs.

A perfect way to end the meal is to eat sweet Indian desserts! Gulab Jamun (red balls) has aromatic warm syrup and Rasgulla (white balls) has a cold sugar syrup.

I and my boyfriend had a great time dining there. Besides the mouthwatering food, I also love how the staff treated us. They are very accommodating. They even taught us how to eat the Pani Puri! We will definitely go back there!
