I belive my blog Chic Mix will be having its 10th year anniversary next year. I began with writing about my makeup journey last 2012 under a different name. Then I stopped for a bit as I got pregnant. Went back to blogging with the name Chic Mix on the year 2014. What started as a diary for a starting makeup artist turned into a place where I share my thoughts on travel, family life, makeup review, and of course, my love for food and photography.Nicole Paler of Chic Mix

Started writing travel blogs when I was a teen. It became a hobby to write all my travels in black and white. After having a child, I became an underachiever. I thought it was motherhood who stopped me from doing things I love. I previously worked as a ramp model, TV and commercial talent, host, Brand Ambassador, newswriter and a working scholar. All the shine to passion came down when I had a child. But all the while it is a me versus me.
After a few years, I started writing about motherhood. Few months after writing again, my writings got featured in Smart Parenting and Asian Parent. I also won as one of the Top 10 Bloggers in the Philippines for Viral Magazine. Labeled as a lifestyle blogger again, I started writing about food and places where kids are allowed. My blog now is all about travelling with a young kid, snippets of food finds and motherhood.Jessica Rose Tinio of Nanay Jecka
