Centro Self-Portrait Studio is the first self-shoot studio in Dasmarinas City, Cavite. In this post, I’ll share my experience with them.
What’s a Self-Portrait Studio?
A self-portrait studio is a modern-day photo booth, except with better quality photos and lighting. Usually, there’s a professional photographer in a studio but here, it’s only you, the camera, and the clicker. You’ll be the one to take photos of yourself.
How does it work?
1. Book an appointment
They accept walk-in customers but I highly recommend booking an appointment. They are very responsive on their Facebook Page. This will save you time and you’ll be assured that you will be entertained immediately.
2. Pose and Click
To maximize the time, make sure that you already have various poses in mind. Budget your 10-15 minutes unlimited shoot.
3. Select good photos
In choosing photos, avoid selecting photos with the same angle. As much as possible, select a variety of photos.
4. Print
Centro Self-Portrait Studio has a good-quality printer. They will print your enhanced photos on the same day.
5. Save
If you’re going to avail of their packages, you can have 10-20 digital copies of raw and enhanced photos. Make sure to bring a flash drive. On the other hand, I recommend that you just add 100 pesos to have a copy of all your raw photos.

- 50 pesos – 5 mins extension for Solo/Duo Package

- 100 pesos – all digital copies (raw)
- 50 pesos – additional 4R print
I and my family had a great experience at Centro Self-Portrait Studio. The place is accessible and the packages are affordable. The staff also makes sure that she can address all the needs of the clients. Overall, we are happy with our experience and of course, the good quality photos!
Tips!
Planning is essential in terms of themed photoshoots. If you are a couple or a group, it’s nice to have coordinated clothes. In Centro Self-Portrait Studio, there are different colors of a backdrop as well as some quirky props for pictorials.
