Are you tired of dating apps? Singles for Leni is the key!

Singles for Leni (SFL) is a Facebook group formed by the supporters of Vice President Leni Robredo. It was created last January 16, 2022. As of now, it has 1,900 members and counting!

It started with a post.

“Sa mga Single dyan: If you are looking for Jowa, much better na sa Leni Group kayo maghanap. Filtered na agad. Sure pa na hindi apologist.”

Then, Felix Sherwin Lopez created a logo “Mga Singles for Leni.” Surprisingly, that logo earned around five thousand reactions and more than a thousand comments. “I never expected na it will progress even more until somebody messaged me and asked me to start building the group. Challenge accepted so I started reaching out to some people who responded dun SFL logo post ko and the rest is history,” Lopez added.

SFL aims to be a breather.

The goal of this group is to be a platform where Leni supporters promote fun, chill, and positivity, after all, positivity is contagious nowadays. According to the admins, SFL will be different from other Leni groups. They always decline toxic posts or info that they think may have been shared already to other Leni groups.

Who belongs to the group?

As the name says, most people there are single. Some are looking for a serious relationship, others are just lurking around. In the group, you’ll see diversity. People there have different interests. Whether you are a KPop fan, gamer, or pet lover, there’s always a crowd for you. Everyone is welcome to the group as long as they follow the rules.

What to Expect from SFL?

The growth of the community in terms of numbers and engagement is unprecedented. Multiple initiatives are actually popping up every now and then. We are going further by opening other platforms soon. Core shall also hit the ground. Kasama kaming bababa sa mga taong nasa laylayan sa mga taong hindi kalaban pero dapat ipaglaban.

They actually have lots of upcoming activities. In fact, there will be a virtual meet and greet for SFL on January 22, 2022. I’m really hoping that besides the funny and romantic encounters, they won’t forget to remember why it all started. I hope that this meeting includes ideas on how to campaign for VP Leni.
