Statistics

What’s statistics?

sta·tis·tics
stəˈtistiks
noun
the practice or science of collecting and analyzing numerical data in large quantities, especially for the purpose of inferring proportions in a whole from those in a representative sample.
Statistics isn’t my favorite subject. I almost failed that course when I was college. Now, I’m going to talk about my blog statistics. I used to use tumblr when I was college, then I transferred to Blogspot, and just this year I transferred to WordPress.
I’ve only been here in WordPress for 5 months. And I recently discovered the “Stats” button. I want to share my blog stats. (As if someone cares. LOL)
Statistics
I got a notification on my 50th post! It’s like an achievement. Hahaha!
Statistics 1
I get 390 to 680 views per week!
Statistics 2
For the past months, getting 1000 views is just a dream.
Statistics 3
I can’t believe that I’m close to reach that 4,000 mark!

Why do people read my blog?

I think it’s mostly because of Song Joong Ki! (which is not my main purpose here)

Here are my top 10 blog posts according to page views:

  1. How to meet Song Joong Ki
  2. How to meet Song Joong Ki (part 2)
  3. Korean Visa Requirements
  4. 7 Days Itinerary in Seoul
  5. Kang Mo Yeon Starter Pack
  6. Shopping in Seoul
  7. Teacher Karla: A Filipina Teacher in Seoul
  8. About page
  9. Korean Drama Locations
  10. Sunday Night

Why do I write?

Bukchon Hanok Village (travelwithkarla)_

I write to express myself. I want to have a record of the places I’ve been and the experience I had. Nothing is permanent in this world. I don’t know until when will I be able to explore different places. I think of this as an investment. Few years from now, I see my older self smiling while reading the things in this blog.

It’s not my intention to be a famous blogger or to earn money using this blog. I’m open to press trips. I enjoy going to different places and making some reviews. By the way, I also write for Two Moneys Travel Group.

Besides travel guides, I’m planning to make some blog posts about learning Korean. I hope this blog can inspire people to learn new stuff, and to travel.
