Every summer, it has been our family tradition to take a break and hit the beach to relax. Earlier this month, I and my family visited Villa Vicencia. Villa Vicencia is formerly known as Samonteza Beach. It’s a resort located at Barangay Hukay, Calatagan, Batangas.
4 Reasons to Visit Villa Vicencia
1. Affordable Rates
Would you believe that the entrance fee is just 50 pesos for a day tour and 100 pesos for overnight. In addition, you also need to pay 30 pesos more for the ecological fee. Besides the affordable entrance fee, their activities are also budget friendly!
2. Spacious Nipa Huts
If you enjoy going to beaches with the whole family, you may rent their spacious nipa huts. It comes with a table and a power outlet (perfect for charging!).
They also have rooms available. If I were to choose, I’d recommend the air-conditioned room with own bathroom.
Day Tour | Overnight | |
Fan Room | 1000 | 1500 |
Air-conditioned Room with bathroom | 2500 | 3500 |
Family Room (with two beds) | 2000 | 3000 |
Native Kubo with room | 1500 | 2500 |
3. Instagrammable Spots!
The place is filled with flowers and pink hues. It has a fiesta theme with all those hanging pink umbrellas and banderitas. Use your photography skills to get the right angle. Check out some of our Insta-perfect pictures below.
4. It’s great for surfing!
The beach in front of Villa Vicencia has big waves! It’s perfect for people who enjoy surfing. If you can’t surf, you may also rent a boat for island hopping.
Although I didn’t try beach activities like snorkeling and beach games, I enjoyed the place because it’s perfect for photo shoots! This is perfect for beach girls like me!
