Bible Story
One Sabbath day, Jesus went to church and began teaching the people. As He spoke, everyone listened closely. They noticed that Jesus didn’t teach like other teachers. His words were powerful and full of truth.

While Jesus was teaching, a man who was hurting and deeply troubled cried out. Jesus spoke firmly but kindly to him. With just His words, Jesus healed the man and made him well.

The people were amazed by what they saw. They whispered to one another, “What is this? Jesus has authority and power!” They knew that God was doing something special through Jesus.

- On one side, draw or write something Jesus helps with (fear, sadness, sickness).

- One child pretends to be Jesus teaching.
- Others practice listening carefully.
- Talk about what it means to listen to Jesus today.
3. Prayer Circle
Have children name one thing they want Jesus’ help with, then pray together.
