Last November 21, 2025, marked a historic moment for the Cavite Content Creators, as we had our very first official courtesy call with Mayor Jenny Barzaga of Dasmariñas City. It was inspiring to see the local government recognize the growing influence of digital creators in promoting culture, tourism, and local pride.
As someone who has been creating content about Cavite for years, it felt uplifting to finally see our community acknowledged. This is the first time the Dasmariñas City LGU formally connected with Cavite content creators, and I am honored to be part of the group representing our province.
The meeting focused on a shared mission: promoting the Magical Paruparo Festival. This is one of Cavite’s most vibrant and anticipated celebrations. The festival symbolizes transformation, unity, and growth, which mirrors how the creator community continues to evolve and take flight.
Our group will cover three major highlights of the festival:
- Binibining Dasmariñas – celebrating beauty, grace, and empowered women of the city
- Street Dance Competition – filled with colorful costumes, energy, and lively interpretations of the butterfly theme
- Lighted Float Parade – a dazzling nighttime spectacle that illuminates the streets with creativity and festivity
Content creators play a vital role in amplifying these events, not only for locals but also for audiences beyond Cavite. Through photos, videos, and stories shared across platforms, we aim to showcase the charm and cultural richness of Dasmariñas to a wider audience.

Walking out of city hall, I felt proud, not just of our group, but of the progress Cavite is making. Collaboration between the government and creators opens doors for tourism, community engagement, and authentic storytelling. This is just the beginning. I cannot wait to share the Magical Paruparo Festival experience with everyone. Tara, Dasma Tayo! Sulong na, Sulong Pa, Dasmarinas!
