5 Asian Restaurants You Should Try in SM City Tanza

SM City Tanza offers various types of restaurants that will bring you to different countries in Asia. In this post, I’m going to share with you five restaurants you can try only in SM City Tanza.

1. Puffy’s Souffle Pancake Cafe

Have you tried those Fluffy Souffle Pancakes on the streets of Taiwan? You may try to jiggle them at Puffy’s Souffle Pancake Cafe on the ground floor of SM City Tanza.

It comes in eight flavors: Chocolate, Creme Brulee, Milk Tea, Original, Blueberry Cheesecake, Lemon, Oreo Cheesecake, and Biscoff Cheesecake. The price ranges from 160 to 220 pesos. They also have carbonated drinks.

Among all the flavors I tried, Biscoff Cheesecake is my favorite!

What I like about this cafe is that you can watch the staff cook your meals. They also have an aesthetic ambiance. I found a power outlet too. I guess, it’s also a good idea to work there.

In Cavite, you can only find them in SM City Tanza. They also have a branch in Robinsons Magnolia, SM Aura, SM North, Robinsons Manila, and Trinoma.

2. Panda Express

Panda Express serves dishes that are authentically American Chinese. All their dishes are cooked in a wok with an open flame to achieve the “Wok Hei”. It’s a combination of that steaming aroma you breathe in and the almost-burning sensation on your tongue that enhances the flavors of the dish.

Don’t forget to add the Honey Walnut Shrimp to your plate!

How To Panda:

  1. Pick A Meal (Bowl, Plate, Bigger Plate)
  2. Choose your Sides (Chow Mein, Mixed Vegetables, Fried Rice, Steamed Rice)
  3. Choose your Entrees (They have 12 entree choices!)
  4. Add More Options (Appetizer, Soup, Dessert)
  5. Add a Drink

Panda Express is a good choice for people who have a big appetite. They have generous serving! Make sure that you’re stomach is empty so you can finish their delicious meals!

3. Crustasia Asian Seafood Noodle House

Crustasia Asian Seafood Noodle House is the place to go for a fine dining experience. They have a buffet of Asian Dishes but they also serve ala carte meals. They serve a variety of dishes from Vietnam and Thailand. Crustasia combines great food, a cozy ambiance, and impeccable service for a unique dining experience.

I totally love their Cereal Prawns and Mango Sticky Rice!

The Makan Sedap Asian Buffet costs 399 pesos on weekdays and 499 pesos on weekends and holidays. They also offer set meals called Sunset Asia. The SET A (1,598 pesos) includes Thai Pork Toast, Roast Pork, Taiwanese Braised Pork Belly, Crispy Kung Pao Chicken, Cereal Prawns, Crispy Noodles, and Crabmeat Fried Rice. The SET B (2,998 pesos) includes Vietnamese Fresh Roll, Grilled Shrimps Pad Thai, All Seafood Satay, Crispy Fried Grouper in Dynasty, Sweet and Sour Sauce, Soy Chicken, and Thai Bagoong Fried Rice.

4. G&G Taiwan Famous Fried Chicken

G&G Taiwan Famous Fried Chicken is a great place to have snacks. Their best sellers include Taiwan Chicken Chops and Taiwan Chicken Pops.

G&G Ultimate Platter is a must-try!

They also serve different kinds of fruit tea, smoothie, and salted cream. The price ranges from 95 to 220 pesos.

They have branches in different parts of Luzon. Their one and only branch in Cavite is located in SM City Tanza.

5. The Great Buddha Cafe

The Great Buddha is the home to the best Chinese dishes in the Philippines. Their original branch is located in Chinatown Binondo. You must try their Xiaolongbao, Sweet Chili Fish, Beef Tendon, and Chicken Feet.

SM City Tanza
You must try their Xiaolongbao!

They are easy to find because of the Huge Golden Buddha in front of the restaurant. They also have Eng Bee Tin on the side. We bought a lot of hopia here!

I know this is not an Asian restaurant but I’m adding it anyway. There’s a Subway in SM City Tanza! They serve fresh sandwiches, wraps, salads, and bowls. I enjoyed customizing my sandwich there!

I love how SM City Tanza brought all these restaurants closer to the people in Cavite. We no longer need to travel far to enjoy these restaurants. How about you? Have you tried any of these restaurants?
