After exploring Korea and Japan last year, I’ve decided to explore Singapore this year. In this post, you’ll see Singapore: 4 Days Budget Itinerary. I arrived in Singapore last February 2 at 23:30 so I’ve decided to stay at the airport. It was February 7, 2020, at 6:30 when I left Singapore. So basically, I only had four days to explore the beautiful county of Singapore.
Day 1 – Touring around Sentosa
Where to go?
- Little India
- Universal Studios*
- Trick Eye Museum*
- SEA Aquarium
- Madame Tussauds
- Chinatown
Expenses:
- 2,003 pesos – Entrance fee for SEA Aquarium and Madame Tussauds
- *The famous globe representing Universal Studios is just outside so I didn’t buy a ticket to go inside. There are also exhibits outside the Trick Eye Museum.
Day 2 – Learning about the History
Where to go?
- Fort Canning Park
- National Museum of Singapore
- Merlion Statue
- Maxwell Hawker Center
Expenses:
- 497 pesos – Entrance Fee for the National Museum of Singapore
Day 3 – Exploring the Wildlife
Where to go?
- Singapore Zoo
- River Safari Adventure
- Rainforest Lumina
- Night Safari
Expenses:
- 4,812 pesos – Entrance fee for Singapore Zoo, River Safari, Rainforest Lumina, and Night Safari. This itinerary is really tiring. You may skip some if you want. Here’s my ranking of what I liked best: Singapore Zoo, Night Safari, River Safari, and Rainforest Lumina.
Day 4 – Shopping for Souvenirs
Where to go?
- Orchard
- Chinatown
- Gardens by the Bay
Expenses:
- 873 pesos – Entrance Fee for the Flower Dome and Cloud Forest in Gardens by the Bay.
I was able to save a lot of money because I chose to eat at hawkers or food centers instead of dining in restaurants. My budget for food ranges from 5-10 SGD per meal. Besides the entrance fees mentioned above, I also spent money on a sim card, transportation card, accommodation, and travel insurance. Singapore is one of my favorite places in the world. Thank you for sharing the updated rates and price. We usually book packages but it’s nice to have an idea on how much they real cost. Can you share food recommendations too?
I heard little India is amazing and has all the best food. What was your fave dish?
I love all your photos looks like you had an amazing time. I would like to visit the National Museum of Singapore xx
Wow. So much to see and do in Singapore. I haven’t been there yet. Would love to visit once my husband and I are well enough to travel. My son has an upcoming trip there, sometime in June. I will let him know about these places so he can see them as well.
So many lovely places to visit. I would love to visit all the places with the animals. Not t bother about the shopping though.
Wow! That’s was quite a trip. I can’t even imagine how you were able to cover all these in just 4 days. I like the idea of eating at hawkers or food centers instead of restaurants — they are a lot cheaper. Would I like to visit? Absolutely.
