Just last month, I attended a workshop called Lip Color 101. It’s a workshop on how to create lip products, lash and brow serum, and eyebrow pomade. I’m going to show you a glimpse of what you can expect from attending the workshop. Watch my Vlog below:
The workshop has two parts: lecture and hands on activity. In the morning Engr. Cyrille Tila discussed the different ingredients needed to make lip products. She mentioned the uses and the effects of every product to our lips. In the afternoon, we started mixing the ingredients. We were grouped into 3-4 members. Then we followed the instructions written on the handouts.
Three Reasons to Attend the LIP Color 101 workshop:
1. Learn to make lip products from scratch
It feels good to actually create some lipsticks, lip balms, and lip tints and select the shade that you want. You are in control of the thickness and consistency of the lip products.
2. Meet passionate people
I was a bit hesitant to go there because I really don’t have an idea about making lip products. I thought that I might not follow the steps correctly. LOL. The good thing is that I have my group mates with me who helped me in calculations. Yes, it involves mathematics!
In addition, I also met young people from different provinces. They traveled all the way to Cavite to improve their skills. Some of them are planning to make their own business by selling products. Others already have their own business. They just want to improve their formulation.
3. Take home good quality products
Until now, I still can’t believe that I was able to made all of these products! I often make product reviews but it’s my first time to make a product. It feels great to use them knowing that I made them myself.

Wow lovely workshop. Wish we had here in India as well to make lovely lipsticks.
It’s a great workshop. Now you don’t have to run around searching for your favorite colours. You must have thoroughly enjoyed learning too.
What a fun workshop to attend – you must have learned so much! The closest I’ve come is making a custom lip color at a lip bar (and I loved it!).
wow that looks interesting. you can already make your own and at the same time enjoying, wish I could be invited with the same workshop in the future ?
I’d love to make my own lip sticks. Sounds like you had a lot of fun and net great peopl. X
Oh wow! I’d love to experience this!
Thanks for the lead, I think I’m gonna check this out!
