TakoMagi is now grilling in Imus! You heard it right. TakoMagi, one of famous Japanese restaurants in Tagaytay has a new branch in Imus. They opened last June 8, 2019.
What’s inside?
The interior will really give you the Japanese vibes. From the red lanterns and banners to the tiny decorations. They even have those cherry blossom replica on the side.
Although it’s quite hot inside, the ambiance will surely make you want to visit Japan.
Isn’t it spring yet?
What to eat?
They offer some Japanese snacks like Takoyaki, Chicken Yakitori, Beef Wagyu, and Steamed Gyoza.
Takoyaki has three variants: Takoyaki Overload (Big Takoyaki Balls), TakoMagi Takoyaki (Baby Octopus Tentacles), and TakoMagi Ebiyaki (Shrimps). The prize ranges from 100 pesos (set of 4) to 300 pesos (set of 12).
If you’re on a budget, you may also try Chicken Yakitori for as low as 25 pesos per stick. If you want to splurge, try their Beef Wagyu. It’s 100 pesos per stick.
They also serve Vegetable and Pork Steamed Gyoza for as low as 80 pesos. It is served with soy sauce and calamansi.

How to go there?
From Robinsons Place Dasmarinas, take a bus going to Manila. Get off at Lumina Mall Imus. You’ll see the place just before the traffic lights.
I, Renz from Thinkable Box, Reyley of Travelokaloka Girl, and Adam of Adam Belda Blogs attended their grand opening. It was so grand, we received lots of freebies! They gave out Japanese keychains, discount vouchers from Food Panda, Free Iced Team and Free Beauche products.
One of the highlights of their grand opening is when Dante Gulapa came wearing a Japanese Robe. He eventually took it off and did the eagle dance. I’m going to upload the video on my YouTube Channel Travel with Karla so stay tuned!
By the way, they are looking for franchisee on the following locations: Paranaque, Makati, Alabang, Quezon City, Pasig, Mandaluyong, Laguna, Marikina, U-Belt, and Taguig. Contact them at 09267058915 or email [email protected].
