Travel Tip
If you’re a solo traveler like me, you should remember this phrase:
- “Sajin Jeom Chigi Jusigesoyo?” – It means “Can you take a picture of me?”
How to go to Sungnyemun Gate:
Take a subway to Seoul Station or Hoehyeon Station
Admission is free!
It is open from Tuesday to Sunday (9 AM to 6:30 PM)
It’s really nice to see how the government of Korea preserved its culture despite the vast advancement of technology. Whenever I travel, I really want to see and experience the culture of the place. If you’re visiting another country, I recommend that you see their historical sites.
