D’ Banquet: A Taste of Filipino Cuisine

I love trying different cuisines like Korean and Japanese but nothing beats Filipino cuisine! Whenever we have foreign guests, they always ask us to eat somewhere with Filipino cuisine. I recently visited D’ Banquet, a restaurant that will give you a great taste of Filipino Cuisine.

Soups

D’ Banquet offers four kinds of soup: two local and two international. They often have Bulalo (one of the most famous dishes in Tagaytay), Sinigang, Cream of Mushroom, and Pumpkin soup.

Filipino Dishes

According to the manager, they now have more than 30 food varieties. It’s surprising to see some dishes like Dinakdakan, Sisig, Crispy Crablets, and Crispy Nilasing na Hipon!

Salads

D’ Banquet has a DIY salad bar which serves fresh vegetables. I like that they cover them to keep the freshness.

OTOP.PH

Beside the restaurant, you’ll see some local products from different town. OTOP means one town, one product. They support small businesses. I even found Via’s blend from Olivia’s Coffee Estate.

I met the owner and her daughter! At first I thought that they are guests because they ate food from the buffet. It’s great to see how they patronize their dishes. In addition, their manager and staff are also commendable. They are so warm and friendly to the customers.

They also have a coffee shop inside the restaurant. The menu includes hot coffee, frappe, and even tea. I ordered their strawberry vanilla frappe and I was satisfied!
