Bonchon’s Bibimbowl: Yay or Nay?

Bonchon is one of my favorite fast food chains. I’m a fan of Korean Food. It’s the reason why I always love eating in Korean restaurants! Last year, I created a Facebook Post about Bonchon’s Kodog and K-fries. I wrote how satisfied I am with the Korean inspired hotdog and fries. I felt really happy because it reached 2.4 K shares! This time I’m going to talk about Bonchon’s Bibimbowl.

I tried the classic Ko-dog in SM Dasmarinas but they don’t have those bacon tidbits on top. I also noticed that their fries are not coated. Anyway, the Ko-dog still tastes good because of the breading!

Bonchon’s Bibimbowl: Is it a Yay or Nay?

Bibimbowl is inspired by a Korean rice dish called Bibimbap. The term “bibim” means mixing various ingredients, while the “bap” noun refers to rice. Since I want to have a heavy meal, I tried Bonchon’s Bibimbowl set meal. It includes Bulgogi Soup and 12 oz. Pineapple juice.

The cashier gave me three choices: Chicken, Beef, or Seafood? I selected beef because I think that it has the most serving of meat among the other choices.

The next question is: ORIGINAL, FIERY SPICE, OR CREAMY CURRY? I love Kimchi but I’m not a fan of spicy food. I chose the original Beef Bibimbowl. This is how it looks like when mixed.

The meat is enough for the rice. If you’re a Filipino, you’ll understand the ratio of meat to rice is important. Haha! I also like that the meat is tender. It’s not hard to chew.

If you order a set meal, a hot and flavorful Bulgogi soup will also be served. It’s not the usual broth. I like that it has noodles, tofu, and meat inside.

Bonchon has 189 stores nationwide. I’m glad that 9 of them are located in my province, Cavite. They have a branch in Lumina, Robinsons Gen Trias, The District Dasma, The District Imus, Waltermart Dasmarinas, SM Bacoor, SM Dasmarinas Annex, SM Molino, and SM Trece Martires. They also have branches in Visayas and Mindanao.

When I was in Korea, I often order Bibimbap whenever I want to eat rice. Now that I’m in the Philippines, I occasionally miss eating it. Thank God for this Bonchon Bibimbowl, my cravings are satisfied!

I’m totally satisfied with Bonchon’s Beef Bibimbowl. The taste is good and the serving size is huge. It’s perfect for a heavy meal. It’s a Yayyy!
