In the past weeks, I was not able to travel outdoors because of the typhoon here in the Philippines. I kept on thinking about indoor places where people can have fun. Then I remembered that I have a blog post about Things to Do in Seoul during Rainy Season. One of the things I love to do is to visit art museums like the Trick Eye Museum. Do you know that there’s a similar art museum like that in the Philippines?
If Korea has Trick Eye Museum, Philippines has Art in Island!
Art in Island
Art in Island is a 3D interactive art museum and one of the biggest of its kind here in the Philippines and in the world! In fact they have several sections: Aqua Zone, Animal Zone, Masterpiece Zone, Central Hall, Fantasy & Religion Zone, and even Christmas Zone!
Art in Island museum is not only for kids but also for kids at heart. I went there with my college friends and my little sister. I highly recommend this for family trips because it gives entertainment to all ages.
Be Part of Art
Art in Island challenges everyone to “Be Part of Art”. You need to be creative with your poses to have a great picture. Check out what we did:
The artworks are not limited on walls. You can even interact with the paintings on the floor:
Tips:
Bring a power bank! If you’re just using your phone to take pictures, you better be ready because taking pictures drains your battery faster.
Bring a friend. It’s hard to travel solo here. Setting up a tripod and a timer will take your time. If you have a friend, everything will be easier and fun!
Be creative. Take pictures in different angles. Do you know that an upward angle will make most people look taller and thinner?
Obey the rules and regulations. Don’t wear shoes. Don’t bring food and pets. Don’t destroy anything. Hahahaha!
I’ve heard that they have a cafe called Cafe Minou. I’m going to check it out on my next visit!

How nice! Do they have any restrictions at to the age of the children? I would love to take my grandchildren there. It would be awesome to have their photos taken against those backdrops.
