Dakasi Review: Yay or Nay?

It’s too hot in Philippines! Going to the mall is one of my ways to escape the hot weather. Besides window shopping, I also searched for another interesting cafe to try.

Dakasi Review

At first, I thought it’s a Japanese cafe but when I read the cup, I realized that it actually came from Taiwan. The place is not so big. The chairs are close to each other. There’s a cork board on the wall filled with sticky notes and some artworks.

Dakasi Bubble Milk Tea is their best seller.

They offer some desserts ranging from 85 to 115 pesos per slice.

I bought some Nacho Chinito. It costs 120 pesos ($2.50). The serving is good for 2-3 persons. However, the salsa dip is too spicy for my sister that’s why I had to order an additional cheese dip for 15 pesos.

The staff are nice and polite. They are attentive. Maybe because there are few customers. I also commend them for wearing plastic face masks for sanitation. They look neat and very accommodating. They greet the customers when they get in and get out.

Dakasi Review: Yay or Nay?

Dakasi aims to develop a nationwide chain of gourmet drinks. All drinks at Dakasi are made with fresh ingredients with no artificial flavoring and little to no additives. The company wants to make milk teas an indispensable part of the daily lives of Filipinos.

Whenever I visit a new place, I always ask for their best seller or their latest drink. It’s the reason why I ordered Dakasi Bubble Milk Tea and Creme Milo. I’m not a fan of milk teas. It’s not something I would crave for.

I don’t find anything special with the taste of Dakasi Bubble Milk Tea. I also had a sip of Creme Milo which is a little bit bland for me. The drinks are not something to look forward to.

The food and the people are good. The drinks are so so. I don’t think  I’ll be a regular in this cafe. I hope I can find a better place to hang out. If you have any recommendations, feel free to write them in the comments below.
