Garden of the Morning Calm: Spring Flower Festival

Garden of the Morning Calm will always be one of my favorite destinations in Korea. I’ve been here last Autumn and Winter. It’s my first time to see it’s beauty during Spring.

Spring Flowers are all over the place! I really wish I came here during the Cherry Blossom Season.

It never ceases to amaze me. I always prefer nature trips over shopping with all the busy crowd. It really feels peaceful and relaxing to see these plants smiling at me.

Going outdoors during spring is a lot easier because you don’t have to wear the heavy coats or jackets. It’s still quite chilly but two layers of clothes are enough.

Even though the nature is breathtakingly beautiful, you still have to be careful with the air (yellow dust), the insects (especially the bees), and the rain (always bring an umbrella)!

How to go there?

The fastest way to go there is to take the subway going to Cheongpyeong Station. Then take the Gapyeong Tour Bus or bus 31-7 going to Morning Calm Arboretum. If you miss the bus, you can take a taxi to go there.

How much is the admission fee?

Adults: 8,000 won (Mon-Fri) | 9,000 won (Sat, Sun & Holidays)
Teenagers: 6,500 won (Mon-Fri) | 6,000 won  (Sat, Sun & Holidays)
Children: 5,500 won (Mon-Fri) | 5,000 won (Sat, Sun & Holidays)
